Therapeutic care services

The British Red Cross therapeutic care service is available on a short-term basis to anyone who needs it during particularly stressful times. Provision may range from one week to six months. Users of the service are offered a relaxing 30-minute session consisiting of:

  • hand care and hand message
  • neck and shoulder massage given through clothes
