Fire and emergency support

The fire and emergency support service (FESS) is part of the British Red Cross' emergency response capabilities. Using specialist vehicles our trained volunteers support the fire and rescue services of Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk in assisting and supporting people in the aftermath of a fire.

We assist people who have often been displaced from their homes by fire, and provide practical help, advice and comfort at a time when people need it most.

For more information please contact either Simon Holmes, emergency response service manager on 01842 768363 or 07738 944576; or Brenda Halesworth on 01603 253416.
