The Red Cross is providing relief to thousands in need in Sudan where close to two million people have been displaced by internal conflict.

We have flown over blankets, tarpaulins and tents to help those affected build makeshift shelters. More than 50,000 households have received seeds and tools to help them grow their own food.

As water is in increasingly short supply, the Red Cross is continuing to repair water pumps and recently we have expanded our tracing services to cope with the growing demand from people searching for news of lost relatives.
