An evaluation of the 'Positive Images' project's success in challenging attitudes of young people towards asylum seekers and refugees. The workshops developed are available from redcross.org.uk/positiveimages and are applicable to the curriculum including Citizenship, Modern Studies, PHSE, RME.
The British Red Cross 'Positive Images' programme worked with secondary school pupils to promote more positive attitudes towards asylum seekers and refugees. This 12 minute DVD offers an illustrative evaluation of the project's educational success in opening up the minds of young people. The workshops developed through the programme are available as a downloadable toolkit from redcross.org.uk/positiveimages and are applicable to the curriculum within Citizenship, Modern Studies, PHSE and RME.
