Photo gallery - HIV awareness competition winners

The British Red Cross has announced the winners of a photography and poetry competition aimed at highlighting discrimination against HIV-positive people.

The competition, which was launched to celebrate World AIDS Day on 1 December 2006, was open to young people across the north of England. More than 300 youths aged 12 to 20 entered, of which three photographers and three poets were chosen to win a digital camera.
