How we work overseas

Our overseas work

The focal point of British Red Cross overseas operations is the international division, based in London.

Emergency response

We have a roster of staff ready for rapid deployment as members of the emergency response unit (ERU).

Federation/ICRC support

More than 70 of our delegates work overseas, mostly on secondment to the International Federation or the ICRC.

Bilateral projects

The British Red Cross has some direct working partnerships with individual National Societies.

Use our imaginative teaching tools.
