Why organise an event?
| Organising your own event is a great way to support the British Red Cross. It gives you the chance to raise money while doing something creative that you really enjoy.
Whatever you raise will go a long way - even a few pounds is enough to buy the equipment, or pay for the training, to save someone's life.
If you need any advice or support, please get in touch with the local fundraiser near you. The difference you could make

Wanting to help them in some way, he decided to raise money for the Red Cross by bravely offering to have his long hair cut off in return for sponsorship. He asked family, friends and classmates to contribute and raised more than £80.
