A donor's story

None of us will have forgotten the atrocities of the 7th July 2006 attacks in London. I was inspired to donate this ambulance when I heard that the British Red Cross Emergency Response Team had done some amazing work that day
Pierre Rolin, Chairman and Chief Executive of Strategic Real Estate Advisors and Founder and Chairman of the StratREAL Foundation first got involved with the British Red Cross when he attended an event in 2006 and ended up sponsoring an ambulance as part of an appeal for funds for our London Emergency Response Appeal.

I was inspired to donate this ambulance when I heard that the British Red Cross Emergency Response Team had done some amazing work that day, including providing front line support to the over-stretched London Ambulance Service. I am proud that the StratREAL Foundation is doing their bit to protect Londoners in this way.”

The StratREAL Foundation then went on to adopt the British Red Cross as one of their strategic charity partners, and have since committed to funding the Child Advocacy and Rehabilitation (CAR) Programme in Sierra Leone. Pierre adds: “We were delighted to take our relationship with the British Red Cross a step further, and we are excited to be able to support their work with children and young people affected by the war in Sierra Leone. The CAR programme is a perfect fit with our Foundation’s objectives and we look forward to seeing the difference that can be made in these young people’s lives with our support."
