Tesco success

| The British Red Cross was Tesco Charity of the Year in 2007 and it raised more money in one year than any other corporate charity partnership. It was therefore Tesco's most successful Charity of the Year ever, raising more than £4.4 million. | | |  | |

The theme was ‘crisis care in your neighbourhood’ and the money raised is being spent on essential British Red Cross services in local communities in the UK.
All parts of the Tesco business got behind the campaign, including its stores, depots and offices.
