The second year of Dance for Life in Surrey gets off to a great start

The first heat of Dance for Life in Surrey took place on 2 March 2008 at the Maltings Theatre in Farnham. All the young performers gave a great show, making the judges' job particularly difficult!

Everyone involved thoroughly enjoyed themselves on the evening and Kerry Stanton from Rushmoor Health Living wrote to us following the event and said, "I'm just emailing to say thank you for the Dance event yesterday. Our group of girls really enjoyed themselves and the experience. It was great that all the schools/squads taking part got something to go home with; I know our group were over the moon! The volunteers and organisation of the day was fantastic and I'm sure our dancers would like to be part of the event next year!"

The overall winners Della Academy of Arts will be taking part in the final on 5 July in Worthing, Sussex.
