China earthquake photo gallery

Parts of China have been left devastated by the worst earthquake to hit the country in 30 years.

More than 60,000 people are confirmed dead with more than 350,000 injured and around 24,000 more still missing or known to be trapped in the rubble.

The British Red Cross launched an appeal on 14 May 2008 to support the Red Cross Movement’s response.

These photographs show why we need your help to continue providing aid to tens of thousands of people in crisis. Click on an image or link to see a larger version of the picture.
