The British Red Cross was one of two charities to benefit from ticket sales to this unique event televised by Channel Five. Sports personalities that took part included Chris Waddle, John Barnes, Nigel Benn and Damon Hill. The celebrity line up included Richard Ashcroft, Rupert Graves, Max Beesley and Nigel Harmon.
