Health Laws poster used by Overseas Branches

Health laws poster used by Overseas Branches, 1950s.

Since 1896, the British Red Cross has had Branches in countries classed as British Overseas Territories, meaning they are subject to the British Government. Since a Red Cross National Society is an auxiliary to its government, the Branches in these Territories also form part of the British Red Cross.

The British Red Cross now has eight Overseas Branches.
