Become an inclusive first aid volunteer

Would you like to give help where it’s really needed?

The British Red Cross is looking for dynamic and motivated volunteers to teach first aid skills. Whether you already have first aid knowledge or not, you could step forward for a challenging and hugely rewarding experience.

Who will I help?

The British Red Cross is committed to reaching everyone with first aid skills. Examples of our current programes include work with disabled people, new parents and disaffected young people.

“Teaching first aid gives me huge satisfaction. It’s wonderful to see people stretching their potential and achieving new life-saving skills.”

You could make a real difference

We’re looking for good communicators who can think on their feet. Perhaps you've never trained before but would like to get involved. Maybe you're a first aid trainer who would like to 'roll your sleeves up' and try a new challenge. We are especially interested in people who have free time during weekdays.

Get in touch

For an informal chat to find out more, contact your local project co-ordinator or email inclusivefirstaid@redcross.org.uk.
