The British Red Cross in CIS, Central Europe & Balkans

Desperate poverty, political instability, natural disasters, soaring rates of HIV and AIDS, and tuberculosis have caused widespread and chronic vulnerability among the region’s population.

Our activities focus on social care of the excluded and vulnerable. HIV programmes and disaster response are also high priorities.
