The sheer scale of needs in East Africa pose a dramatic challenge, but clear analysis and careful planning have put the British Red Cross at the forefront of a broad range of projects that change the lives of thousands people every year.

Current activities are focused in Ethiopia, Rwanda, Somalia, Sudan and Uganda.
