From Annie Lennox to Diversity, there was plenty of celebrity support for our work in 2010 starting with the Haiti earthquake on January 12.

Gok Wan encouraged people to donate clothes to our shops, Stephen Fry used his Twitter powers to drum up support and Anthony Andrews organised collections at some of the major West End theatres.
Diversity dance for life
May was a busy month when Michael Buerk lent his voice to our Red Cross Week radio campaign and Scottish celebrities including James Cosmo joined the celebrations in Scotland. Nicholas Owen hosted a special Remembrance Day event where Lamar put in a performance, and Ruby Wax attended one of our Open Gardens events hosted by top director Paul Weiland. To top it off, Britain’s Got Talent winners Diversity supported our annual dance competition, Dance for Life, with a video for the young contenders.
Refugee Week and Pakistan floods
©InfoDuring Refugee Week in June, Karen David, Stephen K.Amos and Dougray Scott appeared in our video promoting the week and celebrity chef Anjum Amed cooked up a storm at the launch of our report on destitution.
When the floods devastated Pakistan in the summer, celebrities including Lauren Lavern and Chris Parker tweeted their support, and Art Malik appeared in the ITV appeal. England and Pakistan cricketers also arranged a collection at a game between the two sides and Jonathan Ross particpated in a fundraiser.
