Bargain hunters are set to pick up gifts and goodies while supporting people in crisis at a new Red Cross pop-up shop.
But they’ll need to fill their baskets quickly, because the store at one of the UK’s glitziest shopping centres will vanish faster than a snowman in the sun.
The pop-up shop opens at the Westfield shopping centre in west London tomorrow (13 December) and closes on Sunday (16 December). Customers can find everything from vintage aprons and mugs to classic children’s toys.
Shoppers will be tweeting about their visit and sharing pictures of their best buys using the hashtag #generositywrappedup.
They won’t be the only ones enjoying guilt-free gift hunting with the Red Cross this weekend. Hundreds of Red Cross shops across the UK are offering special deals, promotions and events in the run up to Christmas.
Diana Goss, retail manager at the Red Cross, said: “Christmas shopping is at the top of most people's to do lists this time of year so why not shop with the British Red Cross, at our pop-up, high street or online shops?
“It’s a great way of grabbing a bargain and showing your support for people in crisis. In the run up to Christmas Red Cross teams will continue to deliver vital aid to Syria and care for the elderly and vulnerable right here in the UK.”
