A host of top fashion names including Burberry, Hugo Boss and Giles Deacon are lending their support to a British Red Cross pop-up shop next week.
London’s Boxpark will play host to the Good Shop, which will be selling items donated by the likes of House of Holland, Marc Jacobs, Nike and Kurt Geiger.
And the best bit is that all designer stock will be sold at half price or less with all proceeds going to the Red Cross.
Giles Deacon, who donated a dress to the Shoreditch shop, said: “I am proud to be one of the designers supporting this exciting new pop-up shop at Boxpark in aid of the Red Cross.
“Shoppers have just one week to take part in some guilt-free shopping and get their hands on designer items with all the proceeds helping the Red Cross support people in crisis.”
Vintage clothing and sewing
As well as new items, the Good Shop will be selling second-hand designer clothing and accessories – great news for any fashionistas looking to get their hands on some vintage clothing.
Shoppers can also enter into a free prize draw to win a £250 Selfridges voucher, a pair of bespoke Nike iD’s or a luxury wine hamper.
On Thursday 12 June, between 6.30pm and 8.30pm, the shop will host a sewing workshop with London fashion designer Karine Bono.
Visitors will be able to pick items from the in-store haberdashery and take home their very own customised garment.
Tickets to the sewing workshop are £15 and include a T-shirt, haberdashery, a glass of wine and nibbles.
All proceeds from the workshop and clothing sales will go to the British Red Cross.
- The Good Shop will be open between 10-15 June, at Boxpark, in Bethnal Green Road. For more information and tickets, email LDeacon@redcross.org.uk or call Laura on 0207 877 7606.
