Hurricane Matthew has left a trail of devastation across the Caribbean.
Families have been left homeless and in desperate need of shelter, food and clean water.
And now, these families who have lost everything face the deadly threat of cholera.
Severe flooding has destroyed Haiti's water systems. People have no choice but to drink and wash with contaminated water, fuelling the spread of the disease.
Imagine, in one day, the hurricane shattered your life. Homeless, with nowhere to go, all you have is a makeshift shelter with no clean water and little food. And now every day you have to face the fear of losing your loved ones to cholera. It must be terrifying.
This is the tragic reality of life after the hurricane for thousands of Haitians.
Red Cross volunteers on the ground are working around the clock to supply urgently needed clean water, food and hygiene kits to affected communities and cholera treatment centres.
But we need your help. Please donate today to stop this disaster claiming even more lives.
