Learn first aid and save lives

Would you know how to act in an emergency situation?

Throughout our partnership, the British Red Cross is offering MMC colleagues the opportunity to learn first aid skills - so when the unexpected happens, you’re ready to respond. First aid is a skill for life.

Basic first aid doesn’t take long to learn and can have a profound effect on the safety of your colleagues, friends or loved ones.

Commitment

In only a few hours, the Red Cross can teach you all the basics you need:

  • Save a Life; adult – two hour course
  • Save a Life; adult and baby – three-and-a-half-hour course

Courses will take place in your office over your lunch break or after work.

Skills and training

Red Cross first aid training is practical and easy to learn with relevant context and scenarios to help you deal with emergencies in day-to-day situations. No previous first aid training is needed.

Red Cross trainers are highly qualified and experienced, making first aid skills accessible and easy to remember in an emergency.

How to sign up

First aid training sessions will be on offer throughout MMC offices, depending on demand and availability. Sessions will be advertised in your office and on VolunteerMatch, accessible via PeopleLink.
