We start this glorious ride by heading out of San Francisco towards the Pacific and through Golden Gate park to Half Moon Bay. Here the cycling begins in earnest on coastal and inland roads with plenty of beaches and surfing to see before arriving in Santa Cruz. We then head via Monterey to the visual feast of the Big Sur.
Redwood Forests, Pacific beaches and winding cliff roads all feature in this fantastic route as we make our way through Santa Maria and Santa Barbara on our way to Malibu. Here you can try and glimpse the houses of the rich and famous, before arriving at our final destinartion, Santa Monica. After a well-deserved rest, there will be time for tours of Hollywood and LA before heading home.
