Join Team Red Cross in the 2018 Simplyheath Great North Run.
Starting in Newcastle upon Tyne the 13.1 mile route takes you through the city centre towards the River Tyne where, along with thousands of people, you’ll cross over the iconic Tyne Bridge and if you're lucky, you might get a glimpse of the Red Arrows passing overhead.
From there you’ll pass through Gateshead whilst being entertained many bands on the route and when you reach the top of Prince Edward Road in South Shields you’ll be welcomed by the view of the sea with only a mile to go until the end. After the race you’ll receive a post-race welcome, refreshments and massage at our tent!
