Offa's Dyke Charity Walk

Walkers climb a hill in the English countryside

Not for the faint-hearted, this challenge dares you to walk or run the last 26 miles of the Offa’s Dyke path from Clwyd Gate to Prestatyn, following the Clwydian Mountains.

Follow a series of sharp climbs and falls – including the highest point of Moel Fammau at 1,818 feet – until the spectacular view from the Prestatyn Cliffs confirms that the end is in sight.

The challenge was first held in 2000 to raise funds for British Red Cross in North Wales, and now it’s back, thanks to the Red Cross and North East Wales Search and Rescue.

Money raised from this event will be shared equally between the charities.
