Dance: Make Your Move provides a number of excellent opportunities for companies and their employees who want to develop their links with the third sector and improve their corporate social responsibility.
Sponsorship opportunities range from supporting a local venue with £500 to sponsoring the O2 final with £5,000, all the way up to being the headline sponsor at a national level with £50,000. Sponsoring a Dance: Make Your Move event can have many benefits including:
- branding at events
- increased brand awareness through association (marketing surveys demonstrate a 99 per cent brand awareness of the Red Cross in the UK)
- press coverage (in 2012 Dance: Make Your Move reached over one million people through press coverage)
- naming rights to the fundraising awards
- and VIP tickets to events with the opportunity to present the young performers with their awards on stage.
© InfoYou can get the same benefits of sponsoring the project by encouraging your employees to fundraise in-house. Pick an aspect of the project to sponsor, such as a venue, and encourage staff to have fun in any way they like raising money to achieve the fundraising target. We have hundreds of ideas to get you started – you could even do an office danceathon. Employees can also take part in challenge events such as the Great North Run or Berlin Marathon and nominate Dance: Make Your Move as their chosen project to fundraise for. This is a great way to raise money and build morale.
Putting an advert in the Dance: Make Your Move event programme will reach a national audience of over 10,000.

Provide a gift in kind
Gifts in kind are as valuable as sponsorship. The British Red Cross always looks for companies that can provide printing services, trophies, venue hire, branded gifts and prizes that can be used for fundraising activities on the evening. All companies that provide gifts in kind will be acknowledged through advertising, press, branding opportunities and VIP tickets to an event.
The Dance: Make Your Move team always needs fun and lively volunteers who can help out at our events. If you have staff that want to give back to the local community, this is an ideal event to achieve that.
