As Hurricane Irene gathers strength, the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement is helping people across the Caribbean prepare.
Can you spare some time? We need people who can bring their different skills and experiences to our services.
Most of our branches run first aid courses for the public as well as training volunteers so they can help at events and during disasters.
We're specialists in helping communities prepare for, survive and recover from disasters like hurricanes and even an active volcano.
