The British Red Cross has supported the Somali Red Crescent Society in developing a new healthcare programme for the next five years as the country looks to leave its troubled past behind.
Flooding and landslides in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) – also known as North Korea – have left the country unable to produce enough food to feed its 24 million population.
As the wind roared around them, 83-year-old Marcos Bindar hid with is family in one of the only concrete houses near the village on Anonang Norte in northern Cebu and anxiously waited.
