Preparing for the Olympic and Paralympic Games
©InfoThe Olympic and Paralympic Games will be a great experience for London. However, with an extra two million people in the city at any one time, there will be many challenges to face.
Our volunteers and staff will help ensure the games run safely by working closely with the emergency services to provide first aid at many events and continuing to run our many existing services so that vulnerable people receive the help they need.
We are also running first aid training sessions for residents in the host Olympic boroughs. With lots of visitors in the area, it will be more important than ever that local residents have life-saving skills and the confidence to use them.
