Learn first aid to help those most in need

A group learns first aid

Does your organisation support older people, homeless people, or people living with drug and alcohol addiction?

A person’s health, circumstances or age may make them more at risk of injury or sudden illness.

It is vital that the people closest to them have the knowledge and confidence to take action in a first aid emergency. Simple skills can help in a crisis.

How we can help

We work with organisations and community groups who support people more likely to need first aid, including:

  • people living with drug and alcohol addiction
  • people who are homeless and at risk of injury or sudden illness
  • older people whose health may put them more at risk of sudden illness or injury (for example, through trips and falls).

We offer effective, easy to learn first aid education in a relaxed and informal style.

Our sessions are designed to meet learners' needs and are tailored to the environment in which they may need to help someone.

We can deliver first aid courses at your venue or at a British Red Cross location of your choice.
