Photo gallery: tackling TB in central Asia

TB is a contagious disease. Like the common cold, it spreads through the air. Although it is curable, in central Asia the stigma faced by those with the disease is astounding.

In Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, the Red Crescent is addressing the issues through advocacy, community-based activities and communication initiatives.
