At the British Red Cross we know that flooding is a major concern in the UK. Now we are working with other organisations to understand how we can best support people and communities before, during and after flood emergencies. We need your help to get this research underway.

What we are trying to find out
If you’ve been affected by flooding, we’d like to know
- what you needed when you were flooded
- what you need now
- how you think we or other organisations (for example, utilities companies) can help meet your needs
- what you found supportive at the time
- how you and your community responded to the floods
- how the flood has affected you in the long term.
How you can help us
If you’d like to help us with this research, you can
- complete a questionnaire
- talk to us in an interview about your experiences
- take part as community researchers, asking other people in your community about their own experiences and what has happened since.
