Carers emergency card support

Lancashire, Merseyside and Greater Manchester

The British Red Cross, working in partnership with Lancashire County Council, offers a service to carers, which provides peace of mind when they are out and about and have to leave the person they care for unattended.

The carers emergency card is carried by carers and is used as an instant source of identification in case of accidents or sudden illness.

The service operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  Carers can register on the scheme by completing an enrolment form that holds information about the carer, the person they care for and any action that needs to be taken in the event of an emergency.

If you would like to know more about the service or you would like an enrolment form please contact us.
