Camau Cadarn/Positive steps
The Camau Cadarn/Positive Steps service is a collaboration between the British Red Cross and Royal Voluntary Service. We are working together to support people over 50 years of age to regain their independence and reconnect with their community. The aim is for the individual to take charge of their situation and, with support, become more independent and live more fulfilled lives.
This often means connecting with groups and organisations in their community. It might be a case of building confidence. It could also mean talking through issues and finding practical solutions to any obstacles or barriers which are holding them back.
British Red Cross and Royal Voluntary Service use volunteers as well as staff. All staff and volunteers receive extensive training and go through checks. We are proud of our teams and demand the highest standards from them.
