Pakistan Crisis Appeal

Despite generous support received so far, the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement still urgently needs an extra £10 million to carry on helping people affected by the Pakistan crisis.

Although many displaced people have returned home, there remain areas where the population may not be safe or able to obtain food, clean water and medical services.

The Movement continues to assist people affected by fighting, including those who remain displaced. It is one of few international humanitarian organisations currently present in the North-West Frontier Province, the area most affected by hostilities.

This is how your donation could help:

Jerry cans
£5 could provide three jerry cans for carrying and storing clean water
Blankets
£25 could provide six blankets for people left without shelter
Kitchen kits
£50 can provide a food ration for a family of five for one month

With houses destroyed and the local economy disrupted, many families are likely to face hardship.

The Red Cross is providing food, water and other essential items. With these aid distributions, we are trying to prevent people from selling all their possessions in order to survive.

Millions of people are in a desperate situation. Please give what you can today.
