The British Red Cross has teamed up with Channel 4 and Penguin to offer one lucky person the chance to win a host of The Snowman and The Snowdog goodies, to highlight the charity’s annual Get Ready for Winter campaign.
Each year the UK is blighted by severe weather, leaving many people across the country vulnerable and isolated and causing severe disruption to our homes, families and communities.
From providing advice on what to include in an emergency kit to encouraging the public to check on their elderly neighbours, the Red Cross Get Ready for Winter campaign aims to help people prepare for such emergencies.
So if you think you’re savvy about what to do when snow hits and you know whether to pack your bikini or a blanket in your emergency kit, then why not enter our competition here. Entries are open until midnight on 31 December.
The prizes include an original hand-drawn artwork from The Snowman and The Snowdog, the DVD of the film, chocolates, books, a jigsaw puzzle and the soundtrack album signed by composers Andy Burrows and Ilan Eshkeri
The Snowman and The Snowdog is the sequel to the much loved film The Snowman and tells the story of Billy and his new friends as they set off on a magical adventure to The North Pole.
