20 November 2009
BRCOver 600 revellers danced the night away at two Red Cross balls across the north-west on Saturday 14 November. The glamorous evenings were held at Thornton Hall in Liverpool and The Midland Hotel in Manchester.
The Liverpool ball raised over £20,000 and the Mayor and Mayoress of Wirral and joined more than 230 guests to enjoy dinner, dancing and entertainment.
The Manchester ball was organised by Red Cross president Edith Conn and raised over £30,000. The ball included an auction of amazing prizes, including a Greek holiday, dinner for four at the Manchester Hilton Podium restaurant and box seats at Old Trafford.
