This London Fashion Week, you don’t need a superstar’s salary to get the latest look. Stylist Emma Slade will be showing you how to copy the catwalk in your own home – with clothes from a British Red Cross charity shop.
On Saturday 13 September, Emma will be recreating designer looks from London Fashion Week just moments after they appear on the event’s live stream.
As the trends unfold, Emma will be frantically recreating them by scouring the shelves and rifling through the rails in the Red Cross shop on Buckingham Palace Road, London.
Buy the look
Top fashion photographer Claire Pepper will be capturing the looks as Emma creates them. If any outfits take your fancy, you’ll have the chance to buy the pieces in a live eBay auction.
All the profits from the eBay sale will go to our work helping people in crisis.
Emma says: “The event is a bid to prove that you don’t need a big budget to be on trend, that fashion is for everyone, and that charity shop clothing can be cooler than you ever imagined.”
Follow the fast-paced action on Twitter @backofwardrobe and @BritishRedCross and get ready to bid for top London looks.
You can also visit your nearest Red Cross shop to bag a fashion bargain or donate any unwanted clothes. Everything you buy and donate supports our vital work.
