caring for elderly, disabled and vulnerable people
£47,000 provides a ‘care in the home’ scheme in your area, so 360 people can carry on living independently in their own homes.
preparing for cyclones
£34,000 gives 26 communities the special equipment they need to survive in a cyclone, including early warning systems, first aid kits and search and rescue tools.
tackling HIV and Tuberculosis
£114,000 funds a year’s worth of food parcels for over 8,800 sick adults, orphans and vulnerable children who cannot buy food of their own.
health care for mothers and young children
£74,000 provides basic birthing equipment and medicines for women and children in 75 rural communities.
helping hungry families
£50,000 provides 9,000 families with maize to sow during the main cropping season.
