The Disaster Relief Alliance is for individuals and companies who share our humanitarian aims and ideals. It allows us to help vulnerable communities prepare for emergencies and respond immediately whenever our help is needed.
How you will help
Disaster Relief Alliance partners will invest in four key areas of our work.
- Preparedness. We know that strategic investment in disaster-prone areas creates resilience within communities and has a significantly greater impact than relief alone.
- Response. This initiative supports our Disaster Fund to ensure we are always ready to immediately respond to emergencies in the UK and overseas.
- Recovery. To have a sustainable impact we must make long-term commitments to help communities recover, rebuild and restore their livelihoods after an emergency.
- Innovation. The Red Cross is at the forefront of international disaster response. It is vital that we pioneer new methods of response so that we can continue to help the people who need us most.
Benefits of being a DRA Partner
Partners are asked to make an annual gift which will enable them to be involved in the alliance on a variety of levels. Partners are granted access to an exclusive leadership forum, specialist reporting on our work and round-table briefings. Being a partner also provides employee engagement opportunities.
