Donatella Flick Conducting Competition

Violinists playing in concert

Join us for an evening at the Donatella Flick Conducting Competition this November.

We have exclusive tickets to watch some of Europe's most talented young conductors compete at the Barbican. These up and coming talents are going head to head to win the ultimate prize of becoming Assistant Conductor of the London Symphony Orchestra for one year.

The competition, founded in 1990, aims to bridge the gap between conservatoire training and professional life for emerging conductors. They will be assessed by a jury of distinguished names, including conductors Yuri Temirkanov, Gennady Rozhdestvensky, Carlo Rizzi and Antonio Pappano.

Buy your tickets here for an evening of enchanting classical music.

Money raised through tickets sales to the musical event will go towards supporting the valuable work of the Red Cross.
