The House was established as a farmhouse,
next to the village church in the 17th century.
The north garden and drive are in a woodland area with spring bulbs. The west garden is more formal with a circular bed on the site of an old well. The main lawn is south facing and leads down to a large pond. This provides sanctuary for ducks, moorhens, frogs, toads and a variety of insects and dragonflies. Managing the garden for human interest and wildlife is a balance.
Wildlife needs the cover and debris that is untidy to the human eye!
Teas will be served on the terrace overlooking the central lawn down to the pond. Parking will be available in the drive and a nearby field if required.
