Polemonium Plantery National Plant Collections

A series of small gardens, including a south-facing gravel garden, pergola garden, herb and alpine yard, and cottage garden (north-facing). See how to make the maximum use of small spaces, and enjoy the herb nursery and homebaked teas. Open in June for National Plant Collections - Polemonium. Alpine strawberries with cream teas. There is also a small garden antique and collectable shop, and a children’s treasure hunt.

Directions:

From A181 north, turn south at the roundabout, then take the first right and turn left on B1278 into Trimdon Grange village. Turn left at the brick church then second right. Gardens are on the left. From Sedgefield, take B1278 north to Trimdon Grange, turn at the first right then turn right again.
