Red Cross Week      8-14 May

Could you be a Red Cross fundraising superstar?
You will find everything you need right here to get inspired and raise funds to support people in crisis.

How you can help

  • gives drinking water for eight people every day for a year.
  • pays for a 48-hour support package, after someone returns home from hospital.
  • builds clean toilet facilities in a Bangladesh community, to stop the spread of disease.

SEAN'S STORY

Sean Deans

As he crossed the finish line, Sean Deans, 29, suffered a cardiac arrest. He ceased breathing and his heart stopped: there seemed little hope.

Luckily, first aid volunteers David Hart and Steven Gay were standing close by with a defibrillator kit.

I wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for the British Red Cross. It’s as simple as that.
