Carers respite service Derbyshire

Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Cheshire

The carers respite service is a free service for people suffering from severe dementia and their carers, whether living in the same home or not.

The service offers crisis respite sessions which are usually up to four hours duration, and are short term addition to help already provided by statutory services and other agencies.

The aim of this service it is to help client and carer through particularly difficult times.

The service runs alongside the voluntary community health support service in the Amber Valley.
