First aid

The British Red Cross educates people in life-saving skills, enabling them to respond to emergencies in their communities.

Every year hundreds of thousands of people are involved in accidents in the course of their everyday lives.  Often serious injuries can be prevented by first aid knowledge.

We run courses for members of the public, groups and schools.  Available to people from age five and up, courses vary in length from 2 to 28 hours.
