Museum and archives
The British Red Cross museum and archives contains a fascinating portrait of the humanitarian work of the British Red Cross, from its beginnings in 1870 to its vital contribution in today's society.
The museum and archive collection is available for research purposes by prior appointment. We can accommodate small groups to view the collection. A minimum of 24 hours notice is required for all appointments. Research hours are between 10am-1pm and 2pm-4pm, Monday to Friday.
We are currently planning a new permanent exhibition at the headquarters of the British Red Cross in London. In the meantime find out more about the collection online.
