Lindsay Lohan auctions day out with her in LA to raise money for Haiti

A day out with Lindsay Lohan in Los Angeles is currently being auctioned on ebay and will be sold to the highest bidder to raise money for the British Red Cross Haiti Earthquake Appeal. The lot includes four nights at the five-star Peninsula Hotel in Beverley Hills and a day of lunch and shopping with the actress in Los Angeles.
Coldplay charity call for Chile

Within minutes of tweeting, the British Red Cross website was inundated by Coldplay fans wanting to donate to the Chile Earthquake Appeal. This led to a huge spike in traffic to the charity’s website, with a 400 per cent increase in hits in just 15 minutes.
