He has also been an active supporter of the Red Cross since the 1990s.
In 1999 he visited Honduras after the earthquake in the country. Previously he had visited Bosnia and Rwanda to learn about our projects there. But it is not just our international work that interests Nigel.
In the last eight years he has visited projects around the UK. He also took part in a 10k Memorial Road Race and was chairman of the Humanity Fellowship between 2002 and 2005.
