When will I receive my order?

When you order your product, you will see its dispatch date will appear on the website. Please check this date as it may differ for each product.

The dispatch date is the date when your products leave our warehouse. You will actually receive your products between two and seven working days after the dispatch date.

Can I specify a delivery time?

We regret that we cannot currently offer this service.

What do you charge for postage and packing?

Our delivery charge depends on the total value of your order:
Orders worth under £30: £3.50
Orders worth between £30 and £50: £4.50
Orders over £50: free.

Can I return any part of my order?

Top

Should you wish to return anything bought online from the British Red Cross, we will be happy to exchange it, or to offer a refund, provided you return it to us within 21 days of receipt, and it is in fully resalable condition (in perfect condition in its original, undamaged packaging). This does not affect your statutory rights.

If a product has not been returned to us in fully resalable condition, we regret that we may not be able to refund the item.

Please note that we are also unable to refund or exchange goods which were specially adapted to your requirements unless they are faulty, damaged or incorrect. 
If a product is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, we will refund both your original delivery charge and the cost to you of returning the product.

If the product is simply unwanted, you will bear the cost of returning the product to us, and we will not be able to refund your original delivery charge.

There is no need to contact us before returning an item. You can return an item by sending it to the address on the dispatch note included with your delivery. Please follow the instructions on that note, and make sure that you return the item/s to us within 21 days. 

You are responsible for any returned goods until they reach our warehouse. We strongly advise that you obtain a proof of postage certificate when returning any product to us. Certificates are available free of charge from the post office.

Where do you deliver to?

We only deliver within the UK (this includes the Channel Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man and Northern Ireland). We are not able to deliver outside of the UK at the moment, but there is a Red Cross or Red Crescent Society in almost every country in the world, and some of these have online shops.

How can I pay?

We accept all switch, debit and credit cards except except Diners Card, American Express, Solo and Electron. We regret that we are not able to accept other forms of payment for payments made online or over the phone.

We accept cheques made payable to ‘British Red Cross’ if you order by post via a British Red Cross printed catalogues.

All profits made from the sale of British Red Cross products will go towards providing unconditional care to people in crisis, both across the world and around the corner.

Can I buy British Red Cross products in any other way?

You can order any items on our website by calling 0844 89 300 89. Lines are open Monday to Friday 8.30AM to 8PM, on Saturday from 9am to 6pm and on Sunday from 10am to 4pm.

Please have your switch, debit, or credit card number ready along with the codes of the products you wish to order (as shown on the website).

There are more than 370 British Red Cross shops all over the UK. Here you can buy many of the items on our website, as well as a wide range of secondhand goods. To find your nearest shop go to in your area and enter your postcode.
