Tsunami assembly kits

Two assemblies were written in the days following the tsunami to help teachers talk about the disaster in their schools. Both the primary and secondary assembly kits have a scripted performance and additional activities and classroom ideas. The scripts look at themes common to all emergencies.

A year after the disaster, we produced another set of assemblies looking at five individuals affected by the tsunami. These can be used at any point to reflect on the event.
